Must be strange, weird and exciting to see a film based on something you have invested so much of your time too. I love the books and part of me is desperate to see the film but also anxious to see the film makers perception of certain things in the novel.

The only film in recent times thats got me this excited was Casino Royale as Im a massive Bond fan and the book was my favourite of Flemings series. If Rain Fall gets anywhere close to this (taking into account budget etc) i will be a very happy man.

(Still think the whole thing would have worked better as a HBO mini series tho lol)

Shaggy, agreed about Casino Royale-- I watched it AGAIN a few hours ago!  That film is really so beautifully done!

I'm still in the running for the "insane enough to fly half way around the world" for a movie premier.  I'm still having high hopes for the official premier, and if I can tempt any other Rainiacs to be insane with me.......   Roll Eyes Smiley   Keep us posted on that premier, and if I can swing a long weekend, why not spend it in Tokyo?

I would if I could bring the child along-- but that isn't going to happen-- for obvious reasons both parents need to sign for a passport and I am pretty certain I cannot get that kind of cooperation..... THEN if I did-- he would want to take her to Germany to his birthplace some year as he did his son-- and I couldn't risk him taking her out of this country when he has dual citizenship.  too scary!

FP I do hope you get to go!

I would love to...but alas no such luck!  maybe by the time the 3rd or 4th Rain movie is out......haha

Fawnie, don't panic.  It's probably best that everyone... man, woman, and child in the US get passports.  I mean, what if you suddenly got tickets to the olympics or something?  Wouldn't Raqui love THAT?  Don't worry about the ex.  With his past he doesn't stand a chance.  If he tried something stupid like that, you could be happy.  That's one way to get him locked up.   Evil

So Rain is going to be a krav stylist now rather than a judoka?  That will be cool to see and if the action scenes passed muster with Barry then I am very excited indeed.

Of course, if they do a sequel and need a Delilah, Jennifer Lopez did krav for the movie Enough.  On second thoughts...  Cheesy

Sorry Neko, I think the next opportunity will be April 25, when the movie opens to the public.  But that's not that long...
