We have all forgotten about the porn have we?
That`s the problem with porn. It`s about as interesting as an industrial saftey film.....covered in fur and with a bad sound track.

Something I have worried about.......
with all the screens in mini vans now-- you can see a Disney film in a vehicle next to you--
well, what is to stop someone from throwing in porn there? Then you are driving along-- possibly in rush hour (not here but you know) and your kids are along.......and in the vehicle next to you BAM! There it is! No power over that.........
That would be bad. fawn

It's against the law in California. Perhaps to prevent all the car crashes brought on by all the other drivers trying to get a peek?

good question! I have been to CA and I am sure it is not porn itself!
I thought she meant it was illegal to play it in the vehicle.....but maybe she meant it is illegal to have the dvd players entirely in the vehicle.......which would make me think once again--I had the original idea of how bad it would be if someone actually did have porn on while driving down the road....
eek.

To clarify: I believe it's against the law in California to play a pornographic movie on a DVD in a car in the public arena. It's called "drive by porn." I tried to doublecheck, but once you type "pornography" in a search, ya get all kinds of different ... um ... answers.

HA!!! I bet you do, AC... Need to narrow that search, I would imagine. Thanks for clarifying. I was confused. Happens frequently.

AC that is funny! I have to tell you this story now! I had bought the book "Skinny Bitch" and I wanted to check out their website! So I looked, and I must have put net instead of com or whatever, and I get a porn site! NOT the one I was after.......so I try the other and it works.......that is that.
then later had a "date" with my boyfriend - doesn't happen often.....and while we were eating-- he has this look on his face.....but anyway I start telling him about my new book-- and all of a sudden he bursts out laughing.....he says, "OH! That explains it! I saw the link I saw-- thought you were looking at Porn while I was gone!"
hehehe.........had I not told him about the book he probably would have kept thinking that! jeez.......

When I was in high school I worked at a local theater. The owner of that theater has several other theaters around the region, one of them was a drive in that played XXX rated movies. He had to stop playing them due to the increase in car accidents on the nearby highway!

Are you from Ohio? The reason I ask is that my senior year in high school I spent the summer house sitting for my sister in Columbus, and just down the road was a drive-in that showed pornos. I`d never heard of them being shown outdoors like that and thought it had to be the only place in the country since drive-in movies are disappearing so fast.

Quite a while back I was customer of a cable TV company. In those days I usually went to the local office to pay my cable TV bill.
In those days most people in that area used dialup, so the cable TV company decided to also provide higher speed cable internet access. To help the marketing effort they installed computers in the local office so people could "test drive" the higher speed internet cable. They didn't have web filters on those machines.
One time I was in the office paying my bill a boy who looked to be about nine years old and his mother were waiting in line. The boy was web browsing on a demo machine and stumbled over a porn site. Neither the boy nor his mother was amused. I bet they put some filters on after that.
